In Uttarakhand, a centre of ROSHNI was started in Bhadar area of Tehsil Jhakoli of Rudraprayag district on 28th July, 2021. This centre was established with the aim to facilitate education to children and empower women through skill development programmes.
On this auspicious occasion, as the chief guest, Shriman Suman Singh Panwar, Gram Panchayat Head, Shri Ramesh Panwar and Village Guard, Shri Virendra Singh Panwar, member of the organization G.S. Panwar and Ramchandra Singh and local people were present. On this occasion, ROSHNI also distributed desk kits, school bags and other stationary items to more than 20 children, due to which the local children and their families were very happy. This project resulted into a success as more than 30 kids registered to the program and started studying. The programme is still thriving, and empowering the local residents of those hilly areas.
