ROSHNI inaugurated its newly established “SKILL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING CENTRE” on 29th January, 2022, under Kushal Nari-Safal Nari Project. The new centre was located at Natwara Gram Panchayat, Tonk District, Rajasthan, India. Quite an impressive group of women were present to witness the program. New tailoring machines were set-up for the training course, they were also gifted to women who already excelled at the art of garment-construction and needed no further lessons on it. Menstrual hygiene was also a topic of discussion as we distributed free sanitary napkins to the women residents of the village. Our program became a media attraction too, as an Aaj Tak reporter also hopped in to film the ceremony and take interviews.
