In the financial year 2021-22, ROSHNI inaugurated its newly established “SKILL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING CENTRE” under Kushal Nari-Safal Nari Project. The new centre was located at Natwara Gram Panchayat, Tonk District, Rajasthan, India. Quite an impressive group of women were present to witness the program. New tailoring machines were set up for the training course, they were also gifted to women who already excelled at the art of garment construction and needed no further lessons on it.
This year, on 12th August 2022, all the women trainees at the centre stepped up for their very first job after the completion of their skill course. The now-skilled women stitched TIRANGAS for the upcoming Independence Day Celebrations and sold it in communities with the support of Sarpanch Nita Sodha, under the guidance of ROSHNI.
