Women are the primary caretakers of children and elders in every country of the world. International studies demonstrate that when the economy and political organization of a society change, women take the lead in helping the family adjust to new realities and challenges. The importance of women in the society has always been undeniably huge. However, this fact has not always been taken for granted throughout history. Unfortunately, in many cases, women are mistreated badly, and very often the importance of women in society is underestimated. However, the role of a woman in society has significantly changed during recent decades, and ROSHNI tries to promote this change in the rural areas of our nation as well. The Tailoring Course at ROSHNI Skill Development Training Centre, Natwara Gram Panchayat, Tonk District, Rajasthan, ended in the month of August, and the batch of women took their first stitching order on 21st August, 2022. Sarpanch Nita Sodha was really grateful towards ROSHNI for what we did to make the women of Natwara, financially independent.
