On the auspicious occasion of 76th Independence Day, ROSHNI organized a small program at the Gram Panchayat of Madarpur village, Basantpur block, near Masrakh, Chhapra, Bihar. The event was flooded with enthusiastic young kids with beaming faces as they all received DESKITS, which were distributed by us. Kids above 12 years of age were also given Sanitary Napkin sets to ensure Menstrual Hygiene among them. The kids were enlightened by the presence of Village Representative, Dr. Jitendra Kumar Singh and Satyendra Singh (teacher). They addressed the kids as our future civilians and made them aware of numerous historical facts about our “Journey to Independence.” Later, the National Anthem sung by the chorus, brought a wave of patriotism altogether. The function overall ended with smiling little faces as they received a bunch of snacks and gifts for being a part of this national joy. The programme was supported by Shubh Tradex Pvt. Ltd.
