On 23rd August, Team ROSHNI, a registered trust dedicated to social welfare, successfully conducted a Menstrual Hygiene Workshop at the All India Institute of Ayurveda, New Delhi. The event saw enthusiastic participation from girls and women who were keen to learn and engage in discussions about menstrual health and hygiene.
The workshop aimed to break the silence and taboos surrounding menstruation, providing participants with valuable information on managing menstrual health effectively. Topics covered included the importance of hygiene, safe practices, and the use of sanitary products.
One of the key highlights of the event was the free installation of a sanitary pad vending machine at the institute. This initiative ensures that girls and women have easy access to sanitary pads, promoting better menstrual hygiene management. The vending machine installation is a significant step toward empowering women and encouraging a hygienic and dignified approach to menstruation.
Team ROSHNI’s efforts were met with appreciation from participants and the institute alike. The trust continues to work towards raising awareness and providing resources to promote menstrual health and hygiene across communities.
