With the obvious dreadful impacts of plastics on our nature, the least one can do is to avoid the single use of plastic bags. On 31st October 2022, ROSHNI took out an awareness march at National Institute of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases, Sri Aurobindo Marg, Mehrauli, New Delhi, to promote the use of cloth bags and convey the deadly impact of single-use plastic bags on our environment. Team ROSHNI distributed Cloth Bags and Sanitary Napkins to the patients and their attendees. Dr. Priyanka Sharma, Social Welfare Officer, enlightened everyone with her golden words, in the gracious presence of Dr. Sangeeta, Head of Pediatric Department. This march was commenced with the ultimate support by Shubh Tradex Private Limited.

ROSHNI has always felt for this mission and has been organizing regular events to promote the cause. We have distributed over 3000 cloth bags in all these years of our work. Many storekeepers, vegetable and fruit vendors have pledged with us to protect Mother Nature and have completely stopped using the plastic bags.
