The resident of Lakhimpur Kheri district, Savita’s family could not afford her education and she was married off at the age of 17. She had to face domestic violence and financial difficulties during the early age. It was in her village that she came to know about free skills training provided by the Roshni sanstha.

Determined against giving up, she joined a course provided by sanstha. From then it has been a journey of developing, improving and learning till now. The related product regarding training i.e. tailoring machine provided by Roshni sanstha and with now she has her own tailoring shop.

Today, she is independent, successful and inspiration for many others women adn society. Savita started to tailoring work and also train a women’s group with similar backgrounds like hers.
